Is there a date?

Sounds like a good thing to do - many good nights were had there in the '70s and '80s...

No date as yet, due to be anounced around mid July - festival runs from 20 Aug to 5 Sep, will be public voting for preferred 'classic' film/s

Fond memories of nights at the Drivein in the eighies & early nineties in a procession of cars;
Navy Blue Mk1 Escort Panel Van (complete with blue bubblle windows),
Torquay Sand VC Commodore (in starfire four later 3.3 guise..),
Powder blue XB wagon,
Navy blue 180B,
YN65 Hilux 4wd (couldn't beat the lounge in the back..),
Red Mini (definately more 'action' seen the Mini than the others.....),
Yellow 260Z,
Gunmetal XJ6 Jag,
White 528I Beamer,
and of course the RS2000

Cheers

I once went to see a Herbie movie in a white Beetle...

I'm torn due to boycotting Festival Cairns since they changed the name from Fun In The Sun due to stupid political correctness...

Simmilar thoughts, but given it is supporting Harolds House I am considering looking past that issue.......

I shall be ther date pending. I will be the one up the front jumping up and down at the initial closure as the land has quite obviously been put to good use since then!!
I was a regular for many years every tuesday night even seeing the same movies againtowards the end when they stopped caring.
