[quote="jimmyd"]Heading down Saturday morning and cruising back Sunday - have some spare seats in the Fairmont if anyone needs a ride.

Hey James I may just take you up on the offer of the spare seat in the Mont. I'd would've taken the Probe but shiny steel & furry canvas bits sticking out of the tyre tread, doesn't make a good look. The really scary thing is, was it like that on the trip to the Towers mmmmmmm. I ckecked it all out not long ago & all was good then.

I'll ring you later on to confirm details, if you're not going till later on in the day I may take a slow trip down in the Landcruiser. I'll be back in town on Friday morning.

John
If you have parts left over & it still works...... then it was over engineered in the first place.

Happy to have you along for the ride - I have to kick the Father In Law out at the train station by 8.30 (hopefully earlier). Will be heading off straight from there.

I will be back from Gladstone Thursday night - give me a yell Friday and we can sort out the loose ends if the 8.30ish departure timeframe suits you.

Cheers

James

Silly question but is everyone coming down in their daily driver or their "club" car...?

Will be both but most of us have early and late models and the later ones do the longer trips :burnout:
What is a "TE50" you ask ....... "well" you know what a GT is - this was the prototype they used for making the GT - Ford took the TE50 and softened it up for the Sunday drivers and called it a "GT"... lol

You'll be feeling the sting of the 4.1 all the way to Ingham :Hey:
